If your ceiling height will allow it, one of the best ways to increase floor space is to build a mezzanine. Except for the space taken by the support columns and stairs, all of the floor space is still available PLUS all of the new space above. Use that space above for an office. Fence in the space below for a secure inventory area. Use the mezzanine for a new product work cell, and let us set it up with all of the material handling lifts and conveyors necessary.
